New Zealand and Indonesia signed new export arrangements to enhance their $3bn bilateral trade, focusing on food safety, animal health, and plant health. The Ministry for Primary Industries and the Indonesia Quarantine Authority signed an electronic export certification arrangement, aiming to replace paper-based certificates and streamline trade. New export plans for onions and pineapples will also facilitate growth in trade between the two nations.
