An observant motorist reported a suspected firearm in a vehicle, prompting police to locate and stop the vehicle in Ellerslie. The Police Eagle helicopter assisted in tracking the vehicle, leading to its discovery of an imitation firearm, drugs, and related paraphernalia. The driver was subsequently charged with unlawful possession.
