Man found dead in car at L-Aħrax cliff in Mellieħa, Malta after rescue operation.
A rescue operation ended tragically as a man was found dead in his car at the foot of the L-Aħrax cliff in Mellieħa, Malta. The car had crashed down the cliff around 8am, and rescuers initially believed the driver was still alive. Using a crane, they reached the car, but the driver had succumbed to his injuries by the time they arrived. The police and Civil Protection Department were present during the operation.
