Larsen & Toubro (L&T) secures a significant order worth Rs 1,000-2,500 crore from Hindustan Shipyard Ltd (HSL) to construct parts of two Fleet Support Ships (FSS) for the Indian Navy. These specialized naval vessels provide logistics and material support to naval task forces. The two FSS will be among the largest vessels in the Indian Navy fleet and built at L&T's Kattupalli shipyard near Chennai in line with the 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' vision.
