On July 8, a Chautauqua County Resource Center bus with eight passengers went off-road in Town of Sheridan, NY, hitting a house after passing through two fences. The 62-year-old driver, Kevin J. Easterly, was charged with speeding and unsafe lane change. Seven passengers were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital, one to Erie County Medical Center, all with unspecified injuries. No one in the house was injured.
