Johannesburg Human Settlements MMC Anthea Leitch has resigned, confirmed by Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda. Leitch, a Patriotic Alliance (PA) member, joined the mayoral committee in 2022 and has been praised for her work on housing issues. Leitch will focus on party work full time, according to PA deputy president Kenny Kunene. Gwamanda called Leitch a "dependable and hardworking" member of the mayoral committee.
