200 employees at Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa in BC, Canada, went on a 3-day strike over the weekend as part of UNITE HERE Local 40, demanding fair wages and reversal of pandemic-related concessions. The resort, owned by Aldesta Hotel Group, is said to have recovered since the pandemic but has not increased staffing levels. The union plans to return to the bargaining table soon.
