2FM announces Beta Da Silva as new Drivetime host, replacing Lottie Ryan and David O'Reilly. Da Silva previously hosted The New Music Show on 2FM and Weekend Breakfast on the station. He began his career at the broadcaster in 2017 on RTÉ Pulse. Lottie Ryan previously denied claims of being "axed" from Drivetime, stating her departure was always agreed upon for a five-week stint and that she remains a part of 2FM.
