Copper thieves caused $100,000 in damage at an oilfield site near Spruce View, west of Innisfail, Alberta. RCMP are investigating the theft of electrical cable that occurred in the early hours of July 6. Suspects broke into a gate on the property and stole a large amount of copper wire, causing significant damage to the site. RCMP are asking for public tips to help identify the culprits.
