Church of England Synod debates introducing standalone services for same-sex blessings.

Church of England Synod debates further blessings for same-sex couples, with Archbishop of York Stephen Cottrell describing the process as "trench warfare". The Synod discussed the possibility of standalone services for same-sex blessings, after the first same-sex blessings were carried out in December.
