Cboe Global Markets has submitted a request to the SEC for approval to list Solana-tied ETFs from VanEck and 21Shares, marking the first ETF offerings tied to the price of Solana, the fifth largest cryptocurrency. The SEC has 240 calendar days to make a decision on the "19b-4" application. If approved, the products would be part of the third wave of spot cryptocurrency ETFs following the SEC's January approval of ETFs tied to Bitcoin.
