Blount County woman, Samantha McCormack, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for her role in the murder of her 18-month-old son, Enzo, in 2019. McCormack pleaded guilty to felony murder during the course of child abuse. Her fiancé, Robert Elmore Jr., was convicted of capital murder and sentenced to life without parole in 2023. McCormack left her son in the care of Elmore, who abused him, causing his death.
