America's largest theater chain, AMC, has reported its biggest weekend of the year so far, with over 4 million visitors during the extended July 4th holiday. This success was driven by the first and second place box office finishers: Despicable Me 4, which grossed $122.9 million over the five-day weekend, and Disney/Pixar's Inside Out 2, which earned $30 million over the traditional three-day period.
