Alibaba's international e-commerce unit is leveraging generative AI tools to help overseas merchants with translation, content creation, and product returns, says group vice president Kaifu Zhang. Alibaba, which recently restructured its international e-commerce unit, is optimistic about AI's potential, despite increasing tensions between China and the US. Zhang believes China is on par with the US in AI innovation.
