Abia State government in Nigeria is set to launch a N1 billion interest-free revolving loan for 9,200 residents from 184 wards, with the first phase benefitting 50 individuals from each ward. This initiative, part of the Abia Cooperatives Scheme, aims to empower beneficiaries, boost businesses, and positively impact the state's economy in the short, medium, and long term. Additionally, the government plans to enforce regulations against street trading and illegal motor parks in Aba and Umuahia.
