World Bank appoints Dr. Ndiamé Diop as new Country Director for Nigeria, succeeding Shubham Chaudhuri. Diop previously served as Country Director for Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In his new role, he will lead the World Bank's team in Nigeria, deepening policy dialogue and partnership with the government and stakeholders, while overseeing lending and non-lending support.
