WhatsApp is reportedly testing an AI feature that allows users to send an image to Meta AI, which can then analyze and edit the photos using prompts. This feature, currently available in the Android beta version, is designed to provide users with more image-generation capabilities, beyond generating images using simple text prompts. Meta has already integrated AI-powered image editing features, such as isolating and replacing objects, into WhatsApp. The release date for the features is not yet known.
