Vietnamese rice export prices rose 18% in H1 2021, with EU exports up 118%, totaling 4.7 million tonnes and $3bn.
Vietnamese rice export prices rose by over 18% in H1 2021 compared to the same period last year, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs. The average price was $831-959 per tonne in various foreign markets. Vietnam's rice exports to the EU increased by 118%, while total exports reached 4.7 million tonnes, up 10.4% YoY, and earned nearly $3bn, up 32%.
