Tyler Phillips, a NJ native and former Phillies fan, had a solid debut in relief for the Phillies in their 6-0 loss to the Atlanta Braves. In his first MLB appearance, Phillips struck out the side in his first inning and finished with seven strikeouts, setting a Phillies record for most strikeouts in a relief debut. Despite giving up a home run in the sixth inning, Phillips' performance was impressive for a rookie.
