Suspicious death investigation underway in Blind River; OPP, coroner, and forensic pathology service involved.
Police in Blind River are investigating a suspicious death after an unknown person with no vital signs was discovered at a local hospital. The East Algoma OPP Crime Unit is leading the investigation, working with the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, the Office of the Chief Coroner, and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. A post-mortem examination will take place in Toronto to determine the cause of death.
