SpiceJet has not paid staff provident fund (PF) dues for 2.5 years, with the last PF deposit made in January 2022 for 11,581 employees, according to a CNBC-TV18 report following an RTI query. The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has sent notices and summons to SpiceJet regarding the unpaid dues, but the airline has not responded yet. This adds to the airline's ongoing financial struggles.
