Police in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama rescued a six-month-old German Shepherd puppy found tied to a tree at Huntsville Utilities power substation on Saturday. The pup was saved by Officer Graves and his K9 partner Raven, and instead of going to the pound, was taken in by a community member. Authorities urged the public to contact animal shelters or adopt animals to good homes, rather than leaving them tied up and abandoned.
