Downpours in central China's Henan Province disrupted expressways and flights from July 7-8, with the capital city of Zhengzhou receiving 145 mm of rainfall. Entrances to the Zhengzhou-Shaolin Temple Expressway and Zhengzhou Ring Expressway were closed, while a flight from Changchun to Zhengzhou was cancelled and five other domestic flights were delayed. The provincial Department of Transport has been providing weather and road updates via various media channels and prepared disaster relief materials in advance.
