MEO, Altice Portugal's telecoms brand, has signed a multi-year contract with Nokia for a RAN modernization and upgrade programme. The project will cover 2G, 4G, and 5G networks, with Nokia's AirScale range expected to enhance MEO's 5G capabilities. The contract includes access to Nokia's local delivery centre for project oversight. MEO will also use Nokia's MantaRay self-organising network product for network assurance.
