Spice Girl Mel B will be awarded an honorary doctorate from Leeds Beckett University for her charity work supporting domestic abuse survivors. The singer, who has been a campaigner for survivors after leaving an abusive relationship, will receive the doctorate during a ceremony next month. Brown has also been studying trauma-informed care at the university and called the doctorate "an incredible honour."
