A man was taken to hospital by air ambulance following a one-vehicle crash on B6301 Hedleyhill Lane in County Durham. The accident occurred near Tow Law, between the A68 and Cornsay Colliery, and the road is closed in both directions. Durham Police expect the road to be closed "for some time" and are urging motorists to find alternative routes.
