Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) congratulated Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof on his appointment and expressed hope for deepening Indonesia-Netherlands partnership. Schoof, a former intelligence chief, succeeded Mark Rutte as the Dutch Prime Minister in July 2024. Jokowi looks forward to building stronger bilateral ties with the new Dutch leader.
