German startup New4med GmbH has launched a new, minimally invasive Basivertebral Nerve Ablation (BVNA) therapy in Europe, targeting vertebrogenic pain, a type of chronic low back pain associated with bony lesions on vertebral endplates. The implant-free procedure uses radiofrequency energy to block the Nervus basivertebralis and reduce pain transmission to the brain. The company plans to expand infrastructure and develop more innovative solutions for spinal surgery treatments.
