Four fatalities and injuries occurred at Jattu market in Edo State due to a heavy downpour that caused trees to fall during a thunderstorm in Etsako West Local Government Area. Local government chairman Marvellous Zibiri confirmed the incident, advising residents to stay indoors during rainfall. The cause of the trees falling has not been determined, but heavy rain is suspected to be a contributing factor.
