Danish brewing giant Carlsberg is set to acquire UK soft drinks maker Britvic for £3.3 billion (enterprise value of approximately £4.1 billion). The acquisition will create a single integrated drinks business called Carlsberg Britvic and aims to expand Carlsberg's presence in the non-alcoholic beverages market, strengthening its position as a leading global beverage company. Britvic owns popular soft drink brands such as Robinsons, Tango, and J2O. The deal is expected to be completed later this year, subject to regulatory approvals.
