Costco has settled a class-action lawsuit over $2m for its Kirkland Signature Moist Flushable Wipes, advertised as flushable but allegedly causing damage to pipes and septic systems. The lawsuit covers NY purchases between 2011-2017, with eligible customers receiving $1.30/pack (max $55.90/household, min $7.50). Claims must be filed by Aug 9th, and Costco members as of 6/10/24 are identified and paid automatically.
