Chinese automakers experienced a sales boom in June, with several new energy vehicle brands hitting their best monthly sales of the year. BYD sold 341,658 units, a 35% year-on-year increase, and Chery sold 200,412 vehicles, a 38% increase year-on-year. BYD has achieved 44.64% of its 2024 sales target, while Geely Auto raised its sales target from 1.9 million units to 2 million units due to strong sales performance.
