Businessman Andreas Wuchner slips on Bailey's liqueur, wins £4m liability claim against British Airways (80% awarded).
British Airways was found liable for a £5m accident claim after a businessman, Andreas Wuchner, slipped on a puddle of Bailey's liqueur at Heathrow Airport. However, Mr Wuchner will only receive 80% of the value of his claim following the ruling of a judge. Mr Wuchner was rushing to board his flight after getting last-minute coffee from Starbucks, which partly contributed to the accident.
