11-woman all-female team elected to manage Kavita Residency Cooperative Housing Society in Badlapur, Mumbai, inspired by Nari Shakti Act.

In a historic first for the Mumbai region, an all-female team has been elected to manage the Kavita Residency Cooperative Housing Society in Badlapur, inspired by the Centre's Nari Shakti Act. All members of the 11-woman executive committee are working and earning individuals. The housing society, comprising 24 flats built under a redevelopment project, was unanimously decided to be run by women.
