Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav emphasized the importance of increasing green cover to combat soaring summer temperatures. Joining the Indore campaign to plant 51 lakh saplings, Yadav highlighted how humans, in pursuit of development, have built concrete cities at the expense of greenery. The "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative, led by PM Modi, aims to respect Mother Earth, and the Indore drive will conclude on July 14.
