25th Kincardine Scottish Festival delayed, parade cancelled due to fire: The festival's start faced challenges on Saturday morning when a fire in a laundromat located near Victoria Park led to the cancellation of the massed pipe band parade and a delay in opening the park gates. Emergency services closed off Queen Street and Princes Street, and smoke could still be seen coming from the laundromat roof at noon. Shuttle bus transportation to the venue was also halted.
