Port Aransas ferry operations to be paused at noon on Sunday, July 7, due to Corpus Christi Ship Channel closure by U.S. Coast Guard. Texas Department of Transportation granted special permission to operate until then. Ferries will remain closed to public until further notice; access via SH 361 from Corpus Christi. The Port Aransas mayor has issued a mandatory evacuation order for all visitors by noon on Sunday.
