Peru's Cardinal Juan Luis Cipriani, Archbishop Emeritus of Lima, is celebrating 36 years as a bishop and expressed gratitude to Opus Dei founder St. Josemaría Escrivá, St. John Paul II, and Pope Benedict XVI in a video message. Cipriani, who was named auxiliary bishop of Ayacucho in 1988, thanked the three for their influence and support during his long years of service.
