1 person killed in Orangeburg County motorcycle crash on U.S. Highway 301 near Short Avenue. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision, which occurred on July 6 at approximately 10:05 p.m. The rider of a 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling south on U.S. Highway 301 when the motorcycle ran off the road and struck a fence. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
