Man rescued from sea off West Donegal coast after falling overboard; local boat and Coast Guard involved.

A man was rescued from the sea off West Donegal coast after falling overboard. Coast Guard helicopter and Bunbeg Coast Guard joined the search, which ended when a local boat spotted and rescued him. The man, not seriously injured, was medically assessed at Magheraroarty Pier. This followed a maritime emergency over the weekend when a kayaker was reported missing but found safe on Inis Sionnaigh island.
