2024 K-Pop World Festival was hosted by Republic of Korea's Embassy in Nepal on July 7, promoting Hallyu content & cultural exchange. The annual event, first held in 2011, saw the Nepali preliminary round take place online, with 3 selected teams (AURELIA, SMART SUNUWAR, ANJALI NEPALI) moving to Korea for final evaluation. Ambassador Park Taeyoung praised the Korean wave's impact on Nepalese youth, aiming to strengthen cultural ties.
