The European Space Agency's (ESA) new heavy-lift rocket, Ariane 6, is set to launch for the first time on July 9th, following a year-long gap in Europe's space launch capabilities after the retirement of Ariane 5. Ariane 6, developed by ArianeGroup, will replace the previous rocket and marks the start of a crucial phase in its program. The rocket, standing at 62 meters tall, will launch from the European Spaceport in French Guiana.
