35-year-old Clois Blackledge arrested in Washington Parish for 2nd-degree murder after 62-year-old Lark Starnes found shot dead in his backyard.
35-year-old Clois Clifton Blackledge III was arrested in Washington Parish after a man was found shot dead in a backyard near Bogalusa. Lark Starnes, 62, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in his backyard on South Choctaw Road. The Louisiana State Police Unmanned Aircraft Systems team helped locate Blackledge, who was reportedly walking down Highway 21 near Mitchell Road. Blackledge was booked on a count of second-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
