The Charlotte Hornets plan to waive veteran power forward Davis Bertans, whose $5.25M contract was partially guaranteed, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The move comes as the Hornets need to accommodate incoming veteran point guard Devonte' Graham in their recent trade with the Spurs. Bertans, 31, had an expanded role on the lottery-bound Charlotte team, averaging 8.8 points and a .394/.375/.889 slash line.
