A brush fire near mile 231 on State Route 87 south of Payson, Arizona temporarily closed the northbound lanes and one southbound lane on Saturday. The northbound lanes reopened around 4:40 p.m., after the fire caused a two-hour closure. The Arizona Department of Transportation reported the incident, with aerial footage showing smoke and flames burning near the highway.
