Air India receives its first Airbus A320 Neo aircraft in New Delhi, featuring a three-class configuration of eight business class seats, 24 premium economy seats with extra legroom, and 132 economy class seats. This is the first time Air India offers premium economy on its narrow-body aircraft, expected to enter service in August for domestic short-haul routes. Three A320 Neo aircraft in three-class configurations with the old Air India livery have previously commenced operations.
