90-year-old woman dies after being struck by a southbound CTrain near Whitehorn station in northeast Calgary. The pedestrian crossed the street westbound when she stepped in front of the train. The incident occurred on Friday morning at the intersection of 36th Street N.E. and 44th Avenue around 9:30 a.m. No other injuries were reported, and excessive speed or alcohol are not considered factors. The warning signals were operational at the time of the collision.
