100-year-old Montreal home painted in neon colors for Koodo ad violates city rules.
The City of Montreal states that a homeowner has violated city rules by allowing their over 100-year-old home to be painted in neon colors as an advertisement for telecom company Koodo. Toronto-based advertising firm transformed the Victorian-style duplex into a giant Koodo ad, using the company's chosen palette of hot pink, lime green, purple, teal, and orange. The city claims this violates town-planning regulations prohibiting painting brick on the exterior facade.
