58-year-old Michael A. Johnson from Bedford, New Hampshire drowned in Lake Tarleton, Piermont, after his canoe capsized during a fishing trip on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. Johnson and another man were not wearing life jackets despite having some in the canoe. Life-saving measures were attempted but unsuccessful. The New Hampshire State Police are investigating the incident.
