36-year-old pedestrian Joshua Willet was fatally struck by a vehicle on W 95th Street in Overland Park, Kansas on July 4th around 11pm. Willet entered the roadway from a sidewalk and was hit by a passing vehicle. The driver initially fled the scene but later contacted the police and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. The crash is currently being investigated by the Traffic Safety Unit, and anyone with information is encouraged to call 913-890-1437.
