36-year-old pedestrian Joshua Willet was fatally struck by a vehicle on W 95th Street in Overland Park, Kansas on July 4th around 11pm. Willet entered the roadway from a sidewalk and was hit by a passing vehicle. The driver initially fled the scene but later contacted the police and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
